Queer-body, gender and cinema: Deformative effects on the school curriculum

Abstract

The scribbles of this writing echo possibilities of concepts that could still be. We compose landscapes and horizons, suspend questionings and movements that follow the "order" of the unpicking of truths, also latent in the school curriculum in face of gender issues - truths that still mark their roots in heterocisnormativity. Perhaps, writing is the solvent that, between the gaps, runs over the notions of teacher training, and it is in this conceptual dissolving that one seeks to think of teacher training as "deformation", which initially starts from the recognition of the bodies participating in this process as subjects.  It is anchored, thus, on the following problematic: what are the ways of thinking about teacher deformation as an educational policy crossed by cinema and by issues of gender and sexuality? To do so, it presents approaches in friction with gender and sexuality studies, cinema, teacher deformation, and education, movements that weave with the intended theme some scribbles in a possible horizon. Thus, in the face of the suspension of these movements, it is possible to weave dialogues that capillarize beyond the cinematographic narrative, reverberating in the re/existence of queer-bodies in the school environment, enhancing the dazzle of other ways.
