This article analyzes the profiles of women from the 60th and 61st legislatures of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Pará (ALEPA), which formed the largest state female caucus in the 2018 election. The research is based on the literature on political representation and gender, which it seeks to reveal the forms of entry and challenges faced by women in the political field. In order to analyze the profiles of the elected women, we considered quantitative indicators referring to the parliamentary groups, such as: number of women elected, parties and number of women re-elected. To identify the profiles of the Deputies, we considered variables such as: age, profession, level of education, color/race and marital status. We collected data from TSE, TRE-PA, ALEPA websites, social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and regional news websites, based on document analysis. The results indicate that women were mostly elected by center and white parties, over 30 years old, with a high level of education and support in previous family capital.
