Religion and public space from a conception of praxis based on sensibility

Abstract

This paper aims to highlight the political praxis of sensibility, contrasting sensibility and virtuality. To this end, we take the contributions of Spinoza's critique of superstition, on the one hand, and of the Feuerbachian mechanism of projection, on the other, highlighting from both philosophers the idea of praxis as the exercise of community in an act of political immanence. In a second instance of analysis, we situate the problem of praxis in an attempt to question contemporary reality, leaving open a line of analysis of objects such as: religious market, projection of the object of consumption, the consumer as a social atom as opposed to the community in act that praxis presupposes. The methodological approach is hermeneutic in nature.
